Kelowna Parks

Cedar Creek Park
Long and narrow off-leash dog-friendly pebble beach with picnic tables and portable washrooms on site. Cedar Creek is Kelowna's only dog friendly waterfront park.

Gyro Beach
One of Kelowna's most well-known beaches in Kelowna - Equipped with snack venues, a rope swing, volleyball courts, playgrounds, inflatable waterpark, watersport rentals, picnic areas and washroom facilities. Dogs are not permitted on this beach.

Hot Sands Beach - City Park
Long sandy beaches, volleyball and basketball courts, grassy fields, playground, waterpark, skateboard park, washroom and change room facilities, on-site rentals. Live music during summer months (Parks Alive!) as well as local vendors & buskers. Although on-leash dogs are permitted on the boardwalk and pathways, dogs are not permitted on this beach. 

Kinsmen Park
Park located next to waterfront (water access for swimming but no sandy beach). Tall leafy trees, large grassy areas, picnic tables, tennis courts, washrooms facilities. Dogs are not permitted on this beach. 

Rotary Beach Park
This park offers designated swimming areas, change rooms, playgrounds, picnic areas, shady trees, on-site rentals - a popular spot forkite-surfers! Dogs are not permitted on this beach.

Sarson's Beach Park
This neighborhood beach's smaller size gives the park a homey feel. On-site playground, picnic tables, designated swimming areas and washroom facilities are offered. Dogs are not permitted on this beach.

Strathcona Park
Located next to the Kelowna General Hospital, Strathcona Park has designated swimming areas, sandy beaches, picnic tables, public washrooms, and kid's playground all surrounded by tall oak trees and a large grassy area. Dogs are not permitted on this beach.

Sutherland Park
Sutherland Park sits at the base of Knox Mountain with grassy fields, kid friendly playground, tennis courts, boat-launch, and washroom facilities. Dogs are welcome here off-leash. Swimming at Sutherland Park is not recommended due to poor water quality. Dogs are not permitted on this beach.

Tugboat Bay - Waterfront Park
Sandy beaches, beautifully landscaped gardens, washroom facilities, paddle boat rentals and boat launches. Close to restaurants, shopping, nightlife, as well as live music on the Waterfront Park Stage during summer months. Although on-leash dogs are permitted on the boardwalk and walkways, dogs are not permitted on this beach.

Lake Country Parks

Beasley Park
(Same location as Reiswig Park) Soccer fields, baseball diamond, beach volleyball, waterfront nature walk, picnic gazebo, washroom facilities, and the Beasley Community Centre.

Coral Beach Park
Located amongst the Lake Country Scenic Sip Wine Route, this park offers a boat launch, tennis courts, picnic area, and washroom facilities. Additional beach access at north and south ends of Coral Beach Road.

Creekside Park
These walking trails will showcase some of Lake Country's public art and lead you to a detention pond with great viewing areas for when Kokanee run in the fall.

Dewar Park
Dewar Park is a memorial park dedicated to in the memory of the Dewar family and offers a memorial garden, benches, a sitting area and a fire pit. During the winter a small skating rink is maintained by the neighbors.

Lake Country Dog Park
Fully enclosed off-leash dog park.

Jack Seaton Park
Walking trails through naturalized areas, Padel courts, Dean Sorsdahl Memorial playground, baseball diamonds, tennis courts, and washroom facilities.

Kaloya Park
The park provides a great place to swim, boat, picnic, and walk around the peninsula - Many shady and grassy areas with benches with barbecues, playground, full washroom & change room facilities, and direct beach access.

Kopje Park
Historic house, picnic area, playground, open field, ball diamonds, washroom facilities and direct beach access.

Marshall Park
Marshall Park is the home of the Lake Country Sailing Club and has fenced compound for sailing club storage. Rocky beach area with non-motorized boat launch. Public sail boat storage on site.

McCarthy Park 
Offers a quiet picnic area, covered gazebo with seating for 8, community rose garden and access to the softball diamond in Recreation Centre Park behind the Winfield Arena.

McCreight Beach
Quiet, treed pebble beach. Steep access on service road. 

Nuyens Park
Naturalized areas (grassy banks) offer walking trails to the public pebble beach, on leash dog park and picnic areas.

Okanagan Centre Park
Provides safety for boaters during a storm with one of the only safe harbours in the area. The harbour contains a courtesy dock for emergency and pedestrian use, a small swimming beach, a viewing/fishing platform, a boat launch, playground, open field, picnic area, barbecues and washroom facilities. 

Pioneer Park
Pioneer Park is a small beach park with an art sculpture, direct beach access, playground, picnic areas and outhouses.

Pollard Pond & Park
Trails, pond, boardwalk and picnic area.

Reiswig Park
(Same location as Beasley Park) A great park with the beach, washroom facilities, and field activities. A small natural area with mature poplar trees also provides habitat for the waterfowl and birds of prey like the osprey nesting in their canopy.

Swalwell Park
Swalwell offers naturalized areas along Vernon Creek with great viewing areas for when the Kokanee run in the fall. Walking trails connect with Creekside and Memorial Park. Open field, skateboard park, soccer field, ball diamond and washroom facilities. The Farmers Market runs at this park from June 1 to September 30.

West Kelowna & Peachland:

Bear Creek Provincial Park
The swim area is narrow, marked by buoys and covers over 400 metres of coarse sandy beach lakeshore. There are also grassy areas, picnic spots and change rooms in the day use area of the provincial park.

Gellatly Nut Farm
This historic nut farm also has a swimming beach! Large shade trees, a small rock beach with a gradual slope into the water, grass and a playground nearby make this a perfect off the beaten path swimming beach to enjoy.

Marina Park
This park has a pebble beach, a grass area, a covered picnic facility and a playground. It is perfect for those with small children as both the park and beach areas are fenced in.   

Pritchard Park
Located in a quiet residential neighbourhood, there are plenty of sunny and shady spots, making it a perfect place to swim, play volleyball, picnic or walk out on the dock.

Willow Beach
This main sandy beach area is perfect for building sandcastles. With a volleyball court off to the side, picnic tables and trees for shade, it is the ideal all-ages beach destination. A small seasonal concession stand operate across the road from the beach.
